My research focuses on rare genetic lung diseases, including primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD), idiopathic bronchiectasis, and suppurative lung disorders in children and adults. I transitioned to a research career in 2019 after 10 years as a clinician in Pediatric Respirology. I am originally from the United States, where I trained predominantly at the University of North Carolina (go Tarheels). I am the Medical Director for The PCD Foundation Clinical and Research Centers Network, and I spend my free time raising my 3 children and occasionally jogging when they will allow me to.
