Dr. Jean-Sébastien Joyal is an Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics and Ophtalmology at the Université de Montréal, an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at McGill University, and a Pediatric Intensivist at the CHU Sainte-Justine. His research focuses on defining metabolic traits of the healthy and diseased vasculature, and uncovering new metabolic drivers of angiogenesis, beyond oxygen.
