Laurie Snider

Biography

Dr Snider is the Director & Associate Dean of the School of Physical & Occupational Therapy at McGill University. Her research is focused on extremely low birth weight infants in terms of the follow-up for developmental and functional sequelae with a interest in childhood disability. She is PI on a longitudinal validation study of Prechtl’s General Movements Assessment. She is also developing CP-Engine: a Web-based Knowledge Translation Tool using web-based strategies to promote knowledge exchange for ‘best evidence’ in the clinical community.
