We are excited to announce a new opportunity to contribute to the ENRICH community in a voluntary leadership role!
We are looking for two co-Leads for our Data Science Pathway starting September 1st, 2026.
Who we’re looking for:
- Individuals with a primary investigator role, and experience in data science methods (in broad terms) and its application to perinatal and child health
- Individuals with interest to train up the next generation of researchers in data science methods
- Leads will be asked to:
- Provide strategic oversight for education and curriculum development in new and established areas of data science relevant to perinatal and child health, and thus shape a learning pathway within the ENRICH platform
- Help plan and deliver webinars, workshops, and other learning activities, and identify guest speakers
- Mentor ENRICH trainees who are in the data science learning pathway
- Fulfill their role as co-lead for 1-2 years
Who should apply:
- Clinician-scientists, researchers, or educators with experience in data science, with relevant expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, machine learning, health informatics, data governance/ethics, or related areas
- Those who can devote at least 1-2 hrs of time each week, and can be available by appointment to a small group of students
- People who enjoy mentoring, curriculum development, and building interdisciplinary learning opportunities
How to apply:
- Send a 1–2 page letter of interest addressing any and/or all of the following:
- Why you want the role and your relevant experience
- Examples of mentoring/supervising trainees or leading projects
- Your vision for data science training
- Your perspectives on collaboration (leads will work together to execute ideas and facilitate activities)
- Your leadership style and plans for fostering an inclusive, collaborative learning environment
- Your academic CV (any format, except CIHR Biosketch)
- Candidates should apply individually, but are welcome to identify a co-lead in their application
- Review process: Letters reviewed by the ENRICH Executive Committee and Program Team
- Timeline: Applications reviewed on an ongoing basis through mid‑August; leads will be identified by Sept 1, 2026 (pending Executive approval)
