Biography

Dr. Isabelle Hardy graduated from the Doctor of Medicine program at the University of Montreal in 2016. She completed postdoctoral training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Sherbrooke from 2016 to 2022 and obtained a master’s degree in health science research (MSc) at the University of Sherbrooke through the Clinician Investigator Training program. From 2023 to 2025, she completed subspecialty training in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of British Columbia. She is currently working as a postdoctoral research Fellow at the University of British Columbia under the supervision of Drs. Jennifer Hutcheon and Jessica Liauw, and is also completing a PhD in Health Science Research at the University of Sherbrooke under the supervision of Drs. William Fraser and Jean-Patrice Baillargeon. Her research interests include the impacts and management of overweight and obesity in pregnancy, gestational weight gain, mental health in pregnancy, placental function, and fetal growth.
