Biography

Kylie completed her Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto and is a registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She then completed her PhD in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Toronto where her doctoral work focused on the development and delivery of a peer-led concussion education program for Canadian high school students. Kylie is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the NOvEL (Neurorehab Outcomes via Education and Learning) Lab at the Bloorview Research Institute, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. She is also an Occupational Therapist on the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Team at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Kylie’s post-doctoral research is focused on contributing to clinical recommendations to support children and youth with a neurodevelopmental disorder who experience a concussion. She is passionate about co-developing, implementing, and evaluating meaningful clinical and educational interventions for children, youth, and their families.
