I am a pediatric audiologist at SickKids Hospital and clinician-scientist currently completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Boys Town National Research Hospital. My research focuses on understanding how hearing and vestibular disorders affect child development, with a particular emphasis on pediatric vestibular dysfunction. By combining clinical assessments with child-friendly measures of balance, spatial perception, physical activity, cognition, and functional outcomes, my goal is to improve how vestibular disorders are identified, understood, and managed across childhood. My passion for working with children and individuals with special needs is personal. Growing up with a sister with many needs shaped how I view healthcare, research, and advocacy, and inspired me to pursue a career focused on improving outcomes for children and families. That perspective continues to guide both my clinical work and research. I also find a great deal of fulfillment in mentoring students, and I enjoy collaborating with people from different backgrounds who share a curiosity for solving meaningful problems. Outside of work, track and field has always been a big part of my life. I grew up competing in sprinting and long jump and still enjoy training and challenging myself athletically.
