Biography

Dr. Eltorki completed his pediatric residency at the Hospital for Sick Children and his emergency medicine fellowship at Alberta Children’s Hospital. He is a full time academic at the Department of Pediatrics, McMaster University. He is an early career investigator and is currently involved in several national multi-site studies in the fields of youths mental health, bronchiolitis and anaphylaxis. Dr. Eltorki is currently the principal investigator on a therapeutic trial comparing NSAIDs to Opioids in the management of pediatric appendicitis and has an ongoing quality improvement project pertaining to the delivery of care to children with suspected appendicitis in his emergency department.
