Rosalie Dostie is a cisgender, white woman of French heritage. The place she considers home is located on the traditional and unceded lands of the W8banaki Nation.  Trained as a physiotherapist, Rosalie is deeply committed to health equity and to improving access to care for vulnerable and marginalized pediatric populations. Her expertise lies at the intersection of qualitative research, community-based participatory action research, telerehabilitation, and Indigenous health. Her doctoral project, conducted in collaboration with four First Nations communities in Quebec and Saskatchewan, seeks to develop a comprehensive portrait of child development support services and to co-develop, alongside the communities, concrete solutions to strengthen access to these services. She strongly believes in the co-construction of knowledge and in the importance of authentic, respectful partnerships with communities as a pathway toward generating lasting, contextually relevant change.
