Biography

Dr. Sacha Williams (she/her) is a Global Pediatric Surgery Fellow and PhD candidate at McGill University. She holds a MD, MPH (Maternal and Child Health), and a MS (Biotechnology). Focusing largely on children’s surgical outcomes, Sacha has presented her work at multiple national/international conferences, and published in peer-reviewed academic journals. Dr. Williams sits on the executive boards of two national organizations. Her current research explores the impact of gender on access/outcomes of children requiring surgery. Dr. Williams is strongly committed to health equity, social justice, and serving vulnerable communities. She is grateful for the opportunity to join and learn from the ENRICH community.
