Biography

Caitlin Hurd is a physiotherapist and a Rehabilitation Science PhD candidate in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta under the supervision of Dr. Jaynie Yang. She obtained Masters degrees in Neuroscience and Physical Therapy and treats pediatric and adult conditions, with an interest in neurological rehabilitation. Her doctoral thesis will use a mixed methods approach to examine the effectiveness of ELEVATE (Engaging the Lower Extremity Via Active Therapy Early) following perinatal stroke.
