Nadia Roumeliotis is a pediatric intensive care physician at the CHU Sainte-Justine in Montreal. She completed her pediatric intensive care training at Université de Montreal and then a fellowship at SickKids Hospital, along with a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research at the University of Toronto (supervised by Dr. Chris Parshuram). Her doctoral research, funded by FRQS and Canadian Clinical Care Trials Group, examined the link between medication error and harm in critical care. Her current research is primarily focused on patient safety in critical care, specifically on safe discharge home and adverse drug events in critical care. As an early career researcher, she was awarded a CIHR projet grant for a multi-center prospective study of medication errors and adverse drug events in adult critical care. Having been involved with CCHCSP during her training, she is honoured to be in the PILLAR tract of the CCHCSP.
