I obtained my MD (2004) and my residency in pediatrics from the University of Montreal, and my subspecialty in neonatal and perinatal medicine (2009) from the University of British Columbia. I also hold a Masters of Medical Education (2015) from Dundee University, Scotland. I am a neonatologist at CHU Sainte-Justine, an educator and associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Montreal and a researcher in medical education at the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Centre. I am the director of the Centre for Applied Health Sciences Education at the University of Montreal. My research program concentrates on health sciences education and most particularly on the use of simulation for education and improving health care. I love to supervise, counsel and mentor new and young researchers. I think that together we both grow to become better researchers. In my free time, I am a real foody and I love running, hiking and alpine skiing (including mountain touring).
