I am a clinician-scientist who is interested in the molecular and cellular development of tissues in health and disease. I am motivated by science because that is the only way we can improve diagnosis, treatment and health care for children. My most treasured activities are the supervision of trainees in my laboratory and mentoring other scientists. When I am not working, I enjoy camping and the outdoors to recharge!
