Dr. Brendan Andrade is a Clinical Psychologist and Senior Scientist with the Margaret and Wallace McCain Centre for Child, Youth & Family Mental Health at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). He is Associate Professor and Research Director for the Division of Child and Youth Mental Health in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Dr. Andrade serves as a Research Editor for the Canadian Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is a dedicated mentor and teacher who has supervised and numerous undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral clinical and research learners. He is head of the Child Behavioral Health Research lab at CAMH where he investigates the biopsychosocial basis of aggressive and disruptive behaviour in childhood, and conducts clinic and community-based clinical trials with the goal of personalizing psychosocial intervention for children with complex disruptive behavior and their parents.
