Dr. Paul Arnold is the Director of the Mathison Centre for Mental Health Research & Education, the AIHS Transnational Health Chair in Child and Youth Mental Health, a Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Medical Genetics, Hotchkiss Brain Institute, Cumming School of Medicine, at the University of Calgary, and an Adjunct Scientist, Genetics & Genome Biology Program at the Hospital for Sick Children. His research focuses on how genetic and environmental risk factors interact to influence the development of child onset neuropsychiatric disorders including the study of genetic influences on brain structure and function in children with mental illnesses.
