LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

To minimize duplication and consolidate all the existing training tools for health researchers, ENRICH and partners will be launching the Raising Interdisciplinary Scientist Excellence Learning Management System (RISE LMS) over the next few months. This will be an open-source platform to share and use learning tools, to develop the competencies of a skilled health professional researcher, while providing infrastructure for mentorship and progress review. It’s underlining goal is to become the ‘go to resource’ for scientist training in Canada. For more information on RISE, please email rise.lms@sickkids.ca

OPEN ACCESSIBLE SYSTEM

Anyone anywhere will be freely available to register as an instructor or a student. Instructors can upload content and students can take courses.

ALL TRAINING TOOLS SUPPORTED

Simple, personal reading, to interactive eLearning files. Each tool will be categorized according to the core competencies of a researcher, difficulty level, and more.

EVALUATE TRAINING TOOLS

Students can give star ratings to review the tools, and instructors will be able to evaluate their tools with pre and post surveys.

LIVE
SESSIONS

Home for ENRICH national webinars and monthly centre-based sessions.

PATHWAYS OF CERTIFICATION

Pathways of certification created by our network of partners will be free and open for all to access. Networks interested in joining to create a pathway of certification should email the ENRICH head office.

MENTORSHIP FORUMS

RISE will offer discussion forums where mentors and instructors who post tools, will be moderators in discussion boards around their area of expertise. Learners can post questions, gaining access to a network of experts for an answer.

INDIVIDUALIZED RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT PLAN

All learners will complete a skills self assessment survey. Based on their results, certain training tools will be assigned to them. This assessment will auto generate annually and track each student's progress.
