Biography

Dr. Anne Fuller is a general pediatrician and clinical researcher in the Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University. After completing her core pediatric training in Toronto, Anne went on to pursue formal research training though an Academic General Pediatrics fellowship and Master of Science in Clinical Research Methods at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in Bronx, New York. Her research is focused on the intersection of social and medical risk, and particularly the effects of economic disadvantage on child and youth physical and mental health. Her research also aims to understand buffers at the family and community level that may offer protection in the setting of these risks with the goal of informing meaningful, scalable interventions. Anne and her family enjoy off-grid cabin life when they can get away from the city, where she can kayak, swim and lounge around in a hammock reading.
